Luseland Senior Mallards home opener

The Luseland Senior Mallards had their first home opener since the 2019-2020 season. It was a fantastic and heart warming night with the stands full of supportive fans. Prior to puck drop, there was a special tribute to Ray Bergen who has now retired after 26 years as a caretaker at the arena.

Jerry Fischer was also acknowledged as he has passed on the manager duties and taken a step back from the Mallard Executive after a 20 year term with the team. Luseland Minor Hockey presented a very generous cheque for the Rink Improvement Committee’s ongoing upgrades and renovations that are happening at the arena. It was a happy and celebratory night in the rink that our community and team should be proud of. Welcome back to senior hockey.
