Shoppers enjoy Luseland’s holiday market

Approximately 28 vendors were selling their products at the holiday market held at Luseland on Saturday, November 25th. Jean Halliday, President of the Arts Council, said the Arts Council has been hosting the event for 45 years. Arts Council members were on hand serving soup and sandwiches, and the funds from the market went towards supporting visual arts in Luseland.

Luseland’s Arts Council offers three concerts a year, as well as supporting an annual live performance at the school through Concerts for Kids. “We put between $400 to $500 into that each year,” Jean said. The market is an important fundraiser, and a popular event in the community.
